Every Melburnian remembers the dust storm that blew over Melbourne on the afternoon of Tuesday, 8th February 1983.
I watched the cloud of dust roll in from the west to my location on Doncaster hill, it was truly memorable and a little scary. Before phones and camera’s, no-one really knew what it was.
